1. Prerequisites:
• Highway Driving Assist and Lane Follow Assist are both active
• Another vehicle has been detected by your IONIQ 5's rear sensors at least once since starting the SUV
• Hands-off warning is not illuminated on the instrument cluster
• Hazard warnings, such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, are not active
2. Speed: Make sure you're traveling at or over 40 mph
• Alternative Speed: If you're traveling between 20-40 mph, your IONIQ 5 must detect vehicles to the left and right in the rear, and there must be no risk of collision for LCA to work
3. Road Markings: There must be a single dotted line separating the lane you're currently in and the one you're moving to
4. Driver: You must have your hand on the wheel
5. Activate: Push the turn signal up or down either slightly (three blinks) or fully (blinking until disengaged) – you'll see the Lane Change Assist indicator turn green when it's activated
6. Execution: The system assesses your surroundings and performs the lane change when it's clear
